Community Guidelines

Rowllr is a creator-first platform built for writers, thinkers, and storytellers to express themselves freely and build their audience. We encourage bold ideas, mature themes, and creative freedom while ensuring that the platform remains safe, legal, and trusted for everyone.

These Community Guidelines explain what is allowed and what is not allowed on Rowllr. By using the platform, you agree to follow these rules.

1. Responsibility & Legal Compliance

• Creators are fully responsible for the content they publish on Rowllr.
• You must ensure that your content does not violate any applicable law or regulation.
• You must respect intellectual property rights, privacy rights, and legal rights of others.
• Do not upload content that you do not own or have permission to use.
• Do not publish private or confidential information about others without consent.
• Illegal content, including content that promotes violence, terrorism, or criminal activity, is strictly prohibited.
• Rowllr is a technology platform, not a publisher. We do not pre-review content, but we reserve the right to remove, restrict, or disable access to any content that violates these guidelines or applicable laws.
• If content is found to be illegal, Rowllr may take immediate action, including removal of content, restriction of access, or suspension of accounts.
• In cases involving illegal activity, child safety, financial fraud, or court orders, Rowllr may cooperate with law enforcement or regulatory authorities as required by law.

2. Respectful & Safe Participation

Rowllr is a space for open expression and healthy discussion. You are free to debate, disagree, and share strong opinions but harassment and abuse are not allowed.

The following behavior is prohibited:

• Harassment, threats, or intimidation of others
• Hate speech or attacks based on race, religion, gender, sexuality, nationality, disability, or similar characteristics
• Impersonation of another person, brand, or organization
• Spam, scams, phishing, or deceptive practices
• Doxxing or sharing private information without consent
• Attempts to manipulate, mislead, or exploit other users

Disagreement is allowed. Abuse is not.

Rowllr may restrict accounts or content that harms community safety.

3. Content Freedom (Creator-First Clause)

Rowllr is designed to support creative freedom. We do not censor ideas, opinions, or storytelling as long as the content is legally allowed.

Creators are allowed to publish:

• Mature themes, bold stories, and adult fiction
• Artistic nudity and erotic content (not exploitative)
• Dark, controversial, or sensitive topics
• Personal opinions, social commentary, and storytelling

Distinction Between Erotica & Exploitation

Allowed: Written erotica, romance, artistic depictions of nudity, and complex mature storytelling.

Strictly Prohibited: Non-consensual sexual content (rape/assault as glorification), child sexual abuse material (CSAM), deepfakes, or content that promotes real-world sexual violence.

Any content flagged as CSAM will be immediately reported to legal authorities.

Rowllr does not restrict creative expression based on taste or ideology. However:

• Content may have reduced visibility if required for safety, legal, or platform reasons.
• Content that violates payment partner rules may not be eligible for monetization.
• Visibility reduction is not a ban. It is a distribution control, not censorship.

Content Labeling Requirement

While we support creative freedom, creators must categorize their content responsibly to protect younger audiences (13+).

• Mature Tagging: If your story contains explicit themes, strong violence, or erotica, you must mark it as "Mature" or "18+" in the content settings.
• Creators must not target minors with mature, sexual, or explicit content.
• Any attempt to bypass age restrictions or mislabel content will be treated as a serious violation of these guidelines.
• Safety for Minors: Content marked as Mature will be restricted from users identified as minors. Failure to label mature content correctly is a violation and may result in visibility restrictions.

4. Payments & Restricted Content

Rowllr allows creators to sell digital goods and digital access. All payments are processed through third-party payment partners, and their rules must be followed.

• Content that payment partners prohibit cannot be sold on Rowllr.
• If a payment gateway rejects certain content categories, creators must not monetize that content.
• Rowllr is not responsible for payment gateway restrictions, delays, or rejections.
• Creators are responsible for ensuring their paid content complies with gateway rules.
• Creators may still publish such content for free if it is legally allowed, even if monetization is restricted.

5. Enforcement & Moderation

To protect the platform and its users, Rowllr may take action if these guidelines are violated.

Actions may include:

• Warning the creator or user
• Removing or restricting specific content
• Limiting monetization or visibility
• Temporarily suspending accounts
• Permanently terminating accounts in case of repeated or serious violations

Repeat or intentional violations may result in permanent removal from the platform without further notice.

Rowllr is not obligated to provide a detailed explanation for every moderation action, especially in cases involving legal risk, abuse, or security concerns.

Transparency & Appeal Rights

If your content is removed or your account is restricted:

• Notification: You will receive an email explaining why the action was taken unless it involves spam or severe legal threats.
• Right to Appeal: If you believe this was a mistake, you can appeal the decision by contacting us.
• Process: Our team reviews appeals manually. If we got it wrong, we will restore your content and visibility immediately.

Your IP Rights (Creator Assurance)

You own your work. Rowllr claims no ownership over your stories, characters, or intellectual property. You can edit, delete, or publish your work elsewhere at any time. We only host it for you.

Final Creator Promise

Rowllr exists to give creators maximum freedom with minimum interference. As long as your content is legal, respectful, and honest, you are free to create without fear.
